Just in case you were wondering what was up with text based strategy game Yes, Your Grace the thirteenth update released earlier this month pretty much tells all. Development has been moving slower than originally anticipated and their alpha build is planned for testing next month.

The original estimated release date was in August, but it’s pretty obvious that Yes, Your Grace is not going to be able to make it anywhere near that. That said, they do plan on taking as much time as needed to make it a game worth playing.

At the same time, a lot of work has already been done during the silence and the update also mentions what they’ve been up to. The opening scene and tutorial are pretty much done and the music is well underway. While it won’t be polished, the backers who are eligible to test Yes, Your Grace should still get a good feeling for how the game plays.
