Humanature Studios brought their funky Toejam and Earl: Back in the Groove crowdfunding campaign to the masses in February of this year. It succeeded thanks to the devotion of series fans, many of whom plunked down funds on tiers with physical goodies. If you’ve ever pledged to a physical reward tier before then you know that there’s really no solid time frame for those. Sometimes rewards will come quickly and other times they’ll come long after the actual game (or movie, book, etc) was otherwise completed and distributed digitally.

In the case of Toejam and Earl: Back in the Groove, the team appears to have awesome management skills because things are trucking right along. Right now the vinyl figures are already completed and just waiting to be transported to a fulfillment center in the United States. Those getting the poster, t-shirt, or hoodie should note that those have not yet been created but will be shortly as all BackerKit information has been handed off to the reward fulfillment folks. So, those who backed for some sweet Toejam and Earl merchandise should see it start arriving in about two months.

It’s worth noting that those who backed at $1,000 tiers and above have already received their benefactor statue. It makes sense, given how much money they provided to the campaign! Other updates have also been occurring outside of Kickstarter. This is important for anyone who didn’t catch the memo and wants to keep up on all the Toejam and Earl: Back in the Groove news. Here’s the forum where they more regularly update folks (please note that in order to register you do need to be a backer).

Glad to see the BL visual novel Sentimental Trickster was funded. How about those #Kickstarter stretch goals? https://t.co/AEU8LaeD6M - 6 years ago
