Card games are cool. There, I said it. And Afterland by Imaginary Games looks to be no exception. This mobile game has been in development for two years now and is finally getting a Beta release build sent out to backers who are owed a sneak peek. The update detailing this information was sent out over a week ago, so backers should have already had some time to go through this dark look at collectible card games and (hopefully) started to give feedback.

The Beta build for Afterland is still in a very rough stage, what they’re calling MVP (or minimum viable product), and the goal during the summertime is to get as much feedback from players as they can to make the game “the best possible experience” that it can offer. When the bugs are squashed and changes made due to backers’ comments they’ll release the free-to-play game to the public. Which they’re hoping for a September release.
