I love unique and interesting games. Even better if they look to be adventure games. While I know very little about Exoptable Money & Presentable Liberty, what I do see in the pitch has me very much interested in knowing more. Apparently, the Kickstarter is for remakes of these two games. Unfortunately for me, I know almost nothing about the originals. That said, I do want to delve deeper into what they contain.

Exoptable Money & Presentable Liberty

From what I could tell, both Exoptable Money & Presentable Liberty are essentially single room narratives told by messages the player receives. A sort of “escape the room” without actually trying to escape, maybe? Without playing the originals, it’s hard for me to judge. However, I do want to seek them out and give them a try. I do like the idea between these games, so for now I have the campaign starred.

There aren’t really any screenshots to show off, but plenty of videos to watch. The pitch video is clever and gets the point across. The trailers for the original games can also be seen in the text. It would have been nice to see actual images, though. For someone like myself that wants to like this but knows nothing about Exoptable Money & Presentable Liberty this can be a turn off.

Exoptable Money & Presentable Liberty

It’s not necessarily detrimental to me, as I’ve backed projects on less, but an expansion would be nice to see. Or at the very least have a link to where you can get both games to try out before pledging to the Kickstarter. Still, Exoptable Money & Presentable Liberty look like they could be great additions to my collection. If only I knew more going in, though.
