I love comedy adventure games, so backing Paradigm was a no-brainer back when it ran on Kickstarter. That was nearly two-and-a-half years ago. While far from the most outstanding game I backed, it’s still been in development for a while. However, I’m always willing to wait for a good game to release over one that releases on time but only half finished. Frankly, I’m just happy to see it continue development.

As of the latest update, Jacob Janerka has given backers a rundown of where development for Paradigm stands. It looks like a lot of the work is already done, but it’s also not quite ready for even beta testing yet. When it is ready, he’ll send out invite for backers owed an early copy. It will be at this stage where it should be close to release.

There is no set release date for Paradigm yet, and Jacob wants to keep it that way. He doesn’t want to give even a time frame until he feels it’s good enough to be released. And I can certainly get behind that. With all of the art, and most of the SFX and VO work done it’s just a matter of time. Frankly, I can’t wait to be able to give even the beta build a try as I’m very much excited for this one.

To keep backers pacified…um, I mean entertained…until then, Jacob has continued to release more spoiler-free assets he’s been working on. And I have to say I’ve enjoyed everything released thus far. I just want to see it all finally in action.
