The zombie apocalypse is inevitable, so you might as well prepare for it.  That’s the thinking behind ZPREP, a life gamification app for mobile devices that Limbic Thinking is hoping to fund through Kickstarter.  Limbic’s campaign page has all the information you would expect from anyone taking crowdfunding seriously.  There’s a lengthy and very entertaining funding video.  There’s pages of information about what they hope to accomplish, and what they’ll do with the money.  There’s also a good variety of backer rewards.  Great!  The only thing not addressed is the challenge these types of apps face due to strong reliance on a community.  Limbic may release the great life gamification app ever, but if no one is using it then it loses a large element of its value.  We’ll have to see how things develop.

The Kickstarter campaign for ZPREP is running until October 27th and has a target of $50,000.
