bearsimulator2Goats are fine and all, but why play as an ugly goat when you can play as a beautifully deadly bear?  You just might get your chance if Farjay Studios can raise $29,500 by April 17th for their game, Bear Simulator.  Unlike the third person Goat Simulator, Bear Simulator is played from the first person perspective, which makes it a “First Person Bear” game according to the developers.  As you wander around the woods being “beary” you can collect berries, catch fish, and kill woodland creatures.  There’s obviously other things to do in the game, such as exploring various secrets, getting killed by something that looks like Bigfoot, and frolicking.

One of the most entertaining parts of the Kickstarter is the fact that the bear paws are outstretched during the entire video and in all of the screenshots, making it look as though Bear Simulator is actually a zombie bear game.  Maybe that’s one of the many promised secrets in the game?  Or maybe the entire game is just an advertisement for Griz Coat, makers of fine faux fur bear coats?  How about this for the ultimate secret?  You don’t play a bear at all, the game is actually an insane Workaholics spinoff where you play Blake lost in the woods as he tries to survive.

I could happen!

I could happen!
