It looks like the Square Enix Collective has another game that they’ve taken under their wings which will be seeking funding through Kickstarter. Say hello to XO, a procedurally generated space strategy game where you’re outnumbered and outgunned. The game is basically a rogue-like survival game heavily inspired by Battlestar Gallactica. In fact, according to the pitch it practically reads exactly like the show (classic or remake, your pick), which actually sounds like a fun game to play.
XO isn’t live on Kickstarter yet, but the campaign is planned to start on July 20…just a couple days away. So, if you’re a fan of being a lone ship against many (at least at the start of the game) and going out to make new friends to take on an enemy that wants to harvest humanity then keep an eye out. Once it goes live we’ll be sure to share the juicy details.
