Yo ho ho, or something to that effect. Take to the high seas in Overfall, an interesting take on the fantasy roleplaying game. Sail the ocean in a world filled with island upon island. Meet up with interesting people and either engage them in combat or you might try diplomacy and talk your way to a peaceful resolution. Either way, each island you set ground on is filled with something to discover.Overfall

In Overfall the dude in charge of the human population sends the player through a magical portal to a distant realm to steal some powerful artifact and take it back to him. You know, basic greedy warlord kinda deal. Anyway, the guys that you happened to snatch said relic from aren’t happy about it and decide to use the same doorway into your realm and invade it. What happens is up to you and how you handle the situation.

Pit your wits against several traditional fantasy races and take them on with or without swords and sorcery. You’ve got the ever present dwarves and elves; orcs, trolls, and goblins. Even the walking dead and cursed beast creatures will hound your every step. And the way that you deal with these encounters affect how they react to you immediately and in the future. Including a sort of perk system that can help make things easier on you.

Overfall has a sort of procedurally generated system in that no two playthroughs will exactly be alike. And each single island you go to has some form of encounter. “Some encounters are as brief as taking a rest and moving on. Some are tales of intrigue or humor. Some hint at the forgotten history of the world, and the strange powers that influence it today.” Combat is turn based and on a hex grid a la most strategy/RPG hybrids.
