undeadz2Last zombie post of the day, promise! This one comes courtesy of Undeadz, a top down zombie shooter that just hit Kickstarter.  This pixilated open world game promises lots of freedom; including the ability to enter buildings, a ton of environmental interactivity, vehicles, and customization through the use of tools.  There’s always permadeath, which isn’t something you see in zombie shooters very often.  The games’ overhead view brings back memories of Alien Shooter, but the controls don’t seem quite as speed and action oriented.

The Kickstarter page for Undeadz is a little light on further details about the game or developer, but it does have a pretty nice gameplay video, and some screenshots.  Hopefully as time goes on we’ll get more information about the game and developer behind it.

The Kickstarter campaign for Undeadz has a funding goal of $15,000 and runs until November 30th.
