The trio of ex SNK / King Of Fighters developers currently working on Yatagarasu Attack On Cataclysm, a 2D fighting game, posted a huge update on the state of the game recently.  Let’s start with the bad news.

Yatagarasu missed its February 2014 release date.  Those of you with a calendar shouldn’t be too shocked.

Thankfully that’s the only real bad news.  The good news is that the game is on track for a Summer 2014 release date, so it could definitely be worse.

The rest of the update gives details on various improvements being made to the 2D fighters graphics, animations, and voiceovers.  There’s also some pictures from the teams recent trip to JAEPO 2014, a major Japanese arcade event.

But really, all you care about are screenshots, so here you go…
