Suit up, friends. We’re going to a convention.

Let me tell you something, dreams do come true. No, really, give me a chance. I’m not just here for entertainment purposes. I mean it, they really do.

And where do some of these marvelous dreams take flight? Why, a comic book convention, of course!

Ah, Comic Con; sweet, sweet, Comic Con. It is the great mecca of Comic Books. The Disneyland for sequential art enthusiasts and professionals; where they mingle with one another and spread their love of the wonderful medium that is comics. A joyous place of freedom amongst the comic book nerds and gamers to express themselves and their passions. An absolute paradise to be whoever you want to be!

Doesn’t it sound just beautiful? Oh, my people!

But speaking of self expression, a good chunk of the community will partake in cosplaying. Typically, with cosplay, the individual will make a costume resembling a character they adore from a comic, video game, TV show, you name it. Remember what I said about being whoever you want to be? Of course you do, it was in the previous paragraph!

Well, imagine if you were those characters. Want to be Aquaman? Why not? Batman or Iron Man? Now we’re talking. A Homestuck character? All the better. You make those costumes and show off your fandom with pride because you look awesome.

But I mean more than that, what if you magically became those characters and obtained all of their abilities? You are the world’s greatest detective. You have embodied those abilities.

That is where Sleepy Giant’s game Comic Conquest comes into play. They have designed an RPG game with this community in mind. An evil-doer by the name of The Hoarder has locked in all of the Comic Con attendees and transformed them into the costumed characters. Suddenly all the cardboard weaponry you’ve been carried around is realistic, you have magical powers, and you can do anything.

I know you want that vending machine for your booth

Pick a booth and set up home base because you’ll be sticking here a while. Here you will be able to receive missions, rest, improve your skills, you name it. Customize your character in one of the three groups: Comic Book, Fantasy, and Sci-Fi. Begin your journey with thrown together bits of clothes, cardboard boxes, and some traffic cones resembling your character. Once you progress with the missions and level up, you will be able to make upgrades and improve your weaponry.

I know you’re wondering about adding a vending machine in your booth. I can tell. You’re in luck, your booth is customizable as well.

Gather your party and face The Hoarder's minions in the convention!

Once that is done, it is time to arrange your party. Recruit friends to create an indestructible party that no one shall dare challenge. Charge down the aisles, through the booths, and defeat any bad guys that cross your path in the vast convention center. Move further along to find an escape from the convention lock down.

Shut in the cosplaying champions and glorious nerd-fuelled chaos will ensue.
