IOS has no shortage of cute and quirky puzzle games, but so many of them come off as a soulless vessel for microtransactions, that it’s really a treat to find something as charming as the upcoming 3D puzzler Hatch-It!, Multivarious Games’ latest project. With a cute, polished graphical style and an adorable premise, Hatch-It! may just be hatching its way into your heart on iOS and PC very soon, but the developers need your help to make it a reality!
In Hatch-It!, you play as an adorable little robot box thing that was send back in time by Dr. Tyrannosaurus PhD with one and only one goal: save the dinosaurs from extinction. How do you plan on accomplishing that? Well, by finding the eggs and smashing against them with your fragile little robot body. As you move through the game to more complicated puzzles, new gameplay elements will be introduced, keeping things fresh and exciting, and the graphical style and level of polish will make you feel right at home in the ancient world of dinosaurs.
If you’d like to get behind Hatch-It! and show the folks at Multivarious some love, you can check their project out on Kickstarter and see if it’s something worth funding to you. The game is already in stable prototype on both iOS and PC, and if the initial goal is met, the game is slated for release in Fall 2014. Other platforms are stretch goals, so if you want to play some Hatch-It! on your PC or PS4, you’ll have to help spread the word a little bit!
