twilightstruggle1Well, this game just completely flattened its initial goal. I mean goodness. There are still 20 days left on Twilight Struggle’s Kickstarter, a project that plans to bring the captivating board game to life, and already the project has… Seriously?! Quadrupled. Their goal has been quadrupled. Goodness gracious. Well, folks, I’m still going to announce this campaign, because it’s impossible that they’ll get too much funding, so here it is. Twilight Struggle is coming to PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android devices, allowing you to play pretty much damn anywhere, whenever you feel like it.

I love seeing campaigns that hope to bring tabletop games into the digital medium, because 1.) They almost always crush their goals and 2.) These games are usually truly worth porting over to a more permanent medium because physical games are expensive, you can lose pieces, but they’re some of the most fun games out there. Twilight Struggle is a card-driven strategy game where you use troops and gain allies to spread your influence and use that influence to crush the opposing team.

To learn a little more about Twilight Struggle, check out the Kickstarter or do a little research on the physical copy of the game. Your backer dollars would still mean a lot to the project, because the next stretch goal promises a playback capability as well as a historical timeline feature. The Twilight Struggle Kickstarter campaign still has plenty of back rewards available, so take a look!
