It’s been a while since we heard from Laney Berry and the rest of the team at Classroom Graffiti on their school based mystery adventure game The St. Christopher’s School Lockdown and while we’ve been getting little in the way of visual goodies to see for it development continues on. It’s not unheard of for a game developer to go silent for a while, sometimes months, while they have their heads down in the trenches pumping out content for rabid fans to devour. While certainly frustrating to be left in the dark, so to speak, it’s not like they just took the money and ran.

The St. Christopher's School Lockdown

The St. Christopher’s School Lockdown looked good before when we were being shown bits and pieces of the game as it evolved but the latest update continues to wow me in how polished the art is really shaping up to be. You can see some of these shots here but the update has much more to prove that I can’t wait to get my hands on the finished product. It also makes me miss the nearly monthly “reporter” Skype sessions early on where those of us who pledged at that tier and above got to see sneak peeks at things like the voodoo doll mini game.

The St. Christopher's School Lockdown

Anyway, the update goes on to say that they hope to have The St. Christopher’s School Lockdown released to the public by the end of the year and honestly I can’t wait. While it’s been quite some time since the campaign ended I still have faith that it will see the light of day eventually. I’ve gotten to know Laney and some of the other team pretty well and I know that they will release a polished product with a fun story. Until then I’ll just wait patiently for more news to trickle in. Now, if we can just get another group session I’d be ecstatic.
