Endica VII The Dream King is an up-to-four player side-scrolling rpg that takes cues from retro games like Megaman, Castlevania, Metroid and more. After over two and a half years and two fundraising campaigns on both Indiegogo and Kickstarter, it was released on January 13.

Endica VII The Dream King got its start back in May 2013, and its first demo followed not too soon after on June 6 of that year. The year was marked with promising progress and two successful campaigns. However, progress started to slow around the end of November, 2014. Around this time, the developer let backers know the game would be pushed to 2015.

The game was going to originally be released December 18, but at the very last minute, the developer found a way to add a co-op bot to play alongside the player and decided to add it in before releasing the game, which pushed the release date back again. The date was pushed back once more when a few more issues with the game needed to be cleaned up.
