I enjoy a good “furry” game. I’ll freely admit that. Of course, aside from the anthropomorphic animals there’s more I look for in a title of this type. In the case of Winds of Change, this would have to be both in the story and gameplay. For it’s more than just your standard visual novel fare. I’ll get to that later. I will point out that the artwork looks gorgeous, especially if you’re into this sort of thing.
The basic story is your standard revolution tale of a ragtag group fighting the powers that be. Winds of Change is more than that, of course, but that’s the gist of it. There’s something about a powerful artifact that could turn the tides. You also are tasked with managing your growing army as well. Exactly how this latter element takes shape is beyond me. It’s not really talked about in the pitch. Still, I’d love to know more about it.
Winds of Change looks to be an interesting addition to any furry lover’s collection. I know that I like the looks and the premise is interesting enough to want to maybe star it at least. For now, though, I’m just going to keep my eye on it. There’s not enough there right now to get an informed opinion one way or the other.
All in all, Winds of Change could be a good game. I just wish they had more to show off than they do. The characters certainly look cute, and I just want to snuggle with them all. Um, I mean they look all cool and badass. Anyway, it’s already been funded so there’s certainly an audience for this type of game.
