In the latest update from Sekai Project we now have word that all three games in The Grisaia Trilogy have been Greenlit. This should come as no surprise as everything the publisher brings to Steam Greenlight goes through easily. They’ve seemingly got the Midas touch when it comes to both Steam and Kickstarter. Please note that only backers at digital game tiers will be able to receive complimentary Steam keys down the road. Any physical version backers are only paying for that boxed copy.

What of updates on the Vita version? Unfortunately, despite the team likely reaching out to Sony back in December there’s still no word back. That time of year makes it very hard to get in touch with folks considering so many are on vacation. Here’s hoping Sony responds soon with an approval to get these titles on Vita. Considering the huge push for indie content on the platform, a few visual novels should fit in just fine. If you want to gamble on possible Vita copies then Sekai Project recommends backing at the $1 tier. That way you’ll be in the BackerKit list and can upgrade your pledge to buy a Vita version once it is approved. And if not, well, at least you only wasted a buck.

How about any information on the 18+ versions of The Grisaia Trilogy? Nope, no word on all that either. At an Otakon Vegas panel, Sekai Project answered an audience question by saying they would provide information on physical version of the game via DenpaSoft, who is an 18+ focused brand, as soon as it is okayed (by licensors). Will they be able to provide this news before the Kickstarter ends? They’d better because it is causing a lot of stress for backers such as myself! In an even worse development, backers are beginning to cancel pledges due to lack of information.
