With only a few days left of their Kickstarter Campaign and still just shy of their $14,235 funding goal, Iron Tides will go out fighting, in true viking style. Rather than curl up and await defeat, Crash Wave has set up a Twitch channel where they will be hosting a live stream for their fans this Halloween.

Ghoulish Tricks & Treats

Dubbed, “A Tsunami of Pain, Dare to Challenge the Devs” the event will take place on October 29th and 30th. The audience will get the chance to play some truth or dare with the dev team. Have a question about Iron Tides that has been keeping you up at night? Now’s the time to ask it. Want to challenge the devs to ruthless dares live on stream? This broadcast is for you.

One of the best parts of crowdfunding is giving developers the opportunity to really engage with their fans. Crash Wave has excelled at this throughout their campaign. The Iron Tides demo has been steadily improving since I first took a crack at it. This includes additional pirate enemies and a jerk that throws bombs at your crew.

It’s going to be close, but Iron Tides can still pull off a funding victory with this final push. It will be interesting to see what sort of tricks the devs have up their sleeves for the Twitch stream. One update did mention tasting a hot pepper mixed with chocolate, so it seems like they aren’t planning to hold anything back.
