beatdowncity2The tactical beat-em up Treachery in Beatdown City has had quite the life on Kickstarter. The initial campaign sometime back fell short of its goal despite widespread press coverage from a number of larger gaming sites. Not one to give up, the games’ designer, Shawn Alexander Allen, headed back to Kickstarter to give it another go.

As of last night things were looking from, with several thousand dollars still needed to make the game a reality.

How’s it going now? Much better! With less than two hours to go Treachery in Beatdown City is a mere $200 away from its $49,000 target.

Looks like that persistence paid off. Congrats to Shawn and his team.
