troubleinthemanor1Now on Kickstarter is Trouble in the Manor, a multi-player online horror game about survival for PC, iOS, and Android. In a haunted manor far away, ten strangers are stuck together for unknown reasons. An ancient vampire, Count Murdock, lives in the basement and will take anyone walking about in the manor for his next feast. These stranger have no idea what to expect from one another – one could even be a murderer for all they know.

Trouble in the Manor is divided into four  game modes, including Murder, in which the strangers are divided into groups: murderers and bystanders. Murderers simply do that, murder. Bystanders must try and avoid being murdered. Once the numbers are down, someone will release Count Murdock from his coffin, thus teleporting him to a random bystander and turning them into a vampire as well. The more deaths, the more points, and who doesn’t want the highest score?

troubleinthemanor2Vancouver-based studio, Charyb Games, has been working on Trouble in the Manor in their free time, using their own money and resources to move it along. Chayb Games has big plans for Trouble in the Manor, especially on the mobile device front, but need additional funding to make it happen. With the $10K obtained from Kickstarter, all service costs (server space, maintenance, etc.) are covered so users can play together on their mobile devices. Trouble in the Manor is in a prototype stage at the moment but with the funding the artwork and animations would be improved significantly.
