In a Kickstarter backer update posted on Wednesday (September 16th), William Dubé and the other developers behind the upcoming Norse-themed action game Jotun confirmed its release date; and it’s coming out sooner than you’d think: September 29th. That’s right, in just two weeks players will be able to get their hands on the gorgeous Viking adventure on Steam for $14.99 USD. The confirmation of the game’s launch date wasn’t the only juicy bit of news contained in the post, however, as it also contained various other bits of information related the game (including when the launch trailer will be released).

Jotun’s launch trailer will be, well, launched next Tuesday. Soon after the release of the launch trailer, a series of “Making Of” videos tracking the game’s development history will be released on Facebook and Twitter. The developers also confirmed that they’ll be attending this year’s TwitchCon in San Francisco on September 25th and 26th, located at Booth #160.
