Infamous Quests continues on with more retro style pixelated adventurey goodness in The King’s Challenge, the first installment of the Order of the Thorne series, and it is rapidly nearing its release date. According to the update, come January 26th you’ll be able to play as a lovable Bard as he takes part in the challenge to earn the right to have the fairy king grant him one wish.

Order of the Thorne

Having played both Quest for Infamy and the beta for Order of the Thorne: The King’s Challenge I can tell you that if you’re a fan of the old Sierra style adventures you’ll love this one. Mix in a bit of Loom style music playing and you’ve got a classic in the making. And you’ve only got a couple weeks wait until it happens.

Order of the Thorne

Once the game is released next up will be Roehm to Ruin, the prequel to Quest for Infamy, and the second chapter of Order of the Thorne, Fortress of Fire. Frankly, I can’t wait to play any of them. Because these guys put out quality content.
